Got some more finished over the weekend…I am scared to fire anything though! I am still deciding whether the object needs to dictate the shape of the clay. I am definitely most drawn to the bone one, and I can’t figure out why.
It’s a new (school) year! Most of my time is now in Art Education, but I am in Advanced Ceramics and Thesis to complete my BFA. Getting to work right away….this is what I’m working on in ceramics. I’m still obsessed with the idea of reliquaries and fragments, so to begin I am building my own reliquaries around precious objects. I am using cone 6 white clay, pins, and thread.
